Consumer expectations are high in terms of clean label. They prefer tasty and authentic food products but with a limited number of ingredients.
In fact, according to the Creatests for Arlès Agroalimentaire opinion research survey on French food preferences carried out in October 2019, 93% of French people think that the expected taste of the food product is an important criterion. 82% of French people consider the authentic aspect to be notable. In addition, 65% of French people accept the presence of additives of natural origin with the function of aromas.
